He hasno power.Chosenanyway.

Charlie is an angel with no power, on a planet where everyone has one. A crystal picked him anyway. Negative is his brand before his book exists.

Charlie

Charlie on your back, his power on the sleeves.

Terry cotton, oversized. Charlie large on the back with his name. Fifty made. This colour doesn’t come back.

Charlie is why any of this exists.

I made a shirt of him before I made him a single page.

Every tee

When a colour sells out it doesn’t come back in that colour.

The comic

Charlie’s Rising. 2027.

Book One is being made in the open. Storyboards, no script, no finished art, posted from page zero. You can watch it get made instead of waiting for it to appear.

Negative is a clothing brand built on characters I draw. Not licensed ones. Mine. The tees are of them, not from inside their story. Nothing here is a costume.

Every tee is terry cotton, oversized, S to 2XL. The character goes large on the back with their name. Their colour goes on the seams. Yellow is Charlie’s.

Fifty of each. When a colour sells out it doesn’t come back in that colour. That isn’t a tactic. It’s how many the printer makes and how many I can afford.

Everything is inside the price. No shipping line, no COD fee, nothing that appears at checkout. What you see is what you pay.

Who makes this

I wanted two things. Fashion and art. So I made one.

I’m Shahrun. I’m 21 and I draw. I got into art school at fifteen and didn’t go, because art wasn’t a real career in my house. I left school over it. I wanted two things my whole life: to make characters the way Pixar makes them, and to have a clothing brand. Nobody would let me pick, so I didn’t.

Negative is both at once. I draw a character, then I put him on a tee. The tee isn’t merch for a story that exists. The tee comes first, and the story catches up. Charlie is the first. His book is next year. There are fourteen more behind him.

It’s one person. I draw, I write, I pick the cotton, I pack the boxes. That’s not a limitation I’m apologising for. It’s why every piece is exactly what I meant.
